The 8th annual El Festival Espanol de Nueva Iberia scheduled for April 17 through 19 in Iberia Parish has been postponed until August 2020.
The Asociacion Espanola de Nueva Iberia and the City of New Iberia made the decision after considering the public's best interest during the ongoing COVID-19 outbreak in Louisiana.
Organizers have set August 28-30 as the new dates for the festival which will bring locals and visitors out to Bouligny Plaza and Downtown New Iberia's historic Main Street for food, music, and Spanish culture.
