NEW ORLEANS (AP) — A person familiar with the situation says Saints linebacker Demario Davis has agreed to a three-year extension worth up to $27 million. The person spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity because the deal has not been announced. It was first reported by Fox Sports. Davis is an eight-year veteran entering his third season with New Orleans. He has started every game and had at least 110 tackles in each of his first two seasons with the Saints. Davis also made five tackles and sacked Tampa Bay quarterback Tom Brady a 34-23 victory over the Buccaneers on Sunday.
