The Krewe of Bonaparte Parade once again pleased the masses with some calling it “the best parade ever.”

With a start time of 6:30 p.m., the parade took off from Pontiac Point before making its way down Jefferson Street. It traveled through downtown before hitting Johnston Street. Lastly, the parade took N College Road before ending near Cajun Field. For a look at the route, click here.

Founded in 1972, the Krewe of Bonaparte is Lafayette’s largest parade with 29 floats and 820 riders in costume.
