The Mardi Gras parade in Church Point has a new time.
It was originally scheduled to roll at 1 p.m., but due to the expectancy of rain, it will start at noon.
The parade starts on Main Street, near Rod’s Supermarket, and ends at Saddle Tramp Riders Club on E Ebey Street.
Before the parade will be the town’s very own Courir de Mardi Gras, starting around 8:30 a.m. on Olivier Road.
