Because of lingering water issues, two Lafayette schools will dismiss early today.
Officials say students at Evangeline Elementary School and Carencro High School will leave early today, January 18.
"Parents will receive dismissal instructions directly from the school. Students will not be allowed to check out prior to dismissal. We ask that parents refrain from arriving on campus early and wait until further guidance is received," a release from LPSS states.
