Earlier Tuesday, traffic was being diverted around the Kaliste Saloom-Pinhook intersection after a gas line was damaged.
Lafayette Fire officials were on the scene and tell us a contractor was boring a hole for a project and hit a two-inch gas line around lunchtime Tuesday.
