Singer-actress Kelly Rowland made a big splash on the cover of the November issue of Women’s Health magazine. In addition to gorgeous photos of Rowland posing on a beach in a white two-piece swimsuit, the magazine features a cover image of Rowland with a beautiful baby bump!
The new baby will be the second for Rowland and her husband, Tim Weatherspoon, as the couple has a 5-year-old son named Titan.
“[Titan] is the most hype about this baby,” Rowland shared in a video for Women’s Health. “He named the baby. He literally talks to the baby all the time. But he feels like it’s his baby. I’m letting him go with that. No problem.”
Rowland tweeted about the interview, along with an image of the powerful cover photo.

Rowland told Women’s Health that she and her husband had been talking “loosely” about adding to their family. After discovering her pregnancy, though, the former Destiny’s Child vocalist decided to keep the happy news quiet for a while, as world events felt heavy with COVID-19, the election, tensions surrounding racial injustice and more.
Women’s Health reported that Rowland felt “uncertain” at first about sitting for a Zoom interview for the profile, but she had a change of heart.
“[Y]ou still want to remind people that life is important,” she told the magazine.
Women’s Health wrote about the surprise pregnancy announcement on Twitter, and teased the new article.

Rowland was in Vancouver, Canada shooting a new Lifetime holiday movie during the magazine interview. “A Merry Liddle Christmas Wedding” is slated to premiere on Lifetime on Nov. 28, according to Rowland’s Instagram account.
The pregnancy hasn’t slowed Rowland down much, but she did worry that fans would feel let down that Rowland’s big news was a pregnancy instead of an album release.
“I was thinking, Oh my god, my fans are gonna be so disappointed,” she said. “They wanted an album first, but they got a baby!”
Fans don’t seem to be disappointed in the least, and they celebrated the news of the upcoming new arrival on social media. Twitter user @htowngurl17 sent Rowland blessings for a healthy pregnancy.
