Danny and Sandy, is that you?

“Grease” co-stars and long-time friends Olivia Newton-John, 71, and John Travolta, 65, hosted an intimate “Meet n’ Grease” singalong and Q&A session with fans at the Coral Sky Amphitheater in West Palm Beach, Florida, over the weekend. The event was like a Rydell High School Reunion, with Newton-John and Travolta even appearing in full costume, reviving their characters Sandy Olsson and Danny Zuko.

It’s been more than 40 years since the release of “Grease,” the 1978 hit musical and romantic comedy that was packed with summer lovin’, drama and some stellar tunes and dance moves. In addition to the West Palm Beach event, Newton-John and Travolta also appeared at similar events in Tampa and Jacksonville.

Newton-John posted a photo to her Instagram account (@therealonj) from the West Palm Beach event and captioned it: “First time in costume since we made the movie! So excited!!”

Channeling that “good girl” image from the movie, Newton-John is wearing a buttery yellow skirt and matching cardigan. Travolta is wearing a signature black leather moto jacket that is so “Danny.”

Newton-John recently auctioned off memorabilia from “Grease,” including some of the most famed pieces she wore in that memorable “You’re the One That I Want” closing act. The money went towards the Olivia Newton-John Cancer Wellness and Research Centre. Newton-John’s iconic leather jacket sold for $243,200, but it was returned to Newton-John so she could put it on permanent display at her research center in Melbourne, Australia.

“The odds of beating a recurring cancer using the newest emerging therapies is a thousand-fold greater than someone appearing out of the blue, buying your most famous and cherished icon, and returning it to you, which is what I’m going to do right now,” the media tech entrepreneur who bought the jacket told Newton-John in an emotional video.

Newton-John founded the cancer center during her first battle in 1992, according to People magazine. She overcame cancer once again in 2013 but, in May 2017, she was told the cancer had metastasized and spread to her bones.

In People’s “Grease”-themed 40th-anniversary special edition issue, Newton-John and Travolta talk about their long-lasting friendship, with Newton-John saying that her Grease co-star always reaches out during tough times.

It was great to see our favorite “Grease” co-stars reunited!
