A Jennings man has been arrested following an investigation into the reported molestation of a 10-year-old girl.
The Jeff Davis Parish Sheriff's Office says they were called to the Jennings American Legion on July 1 in regards to a complaint of child molestation.
Deputies say they were advised that a 10-year-old had reported to her mother that she was touched inappropriately the night before by a man identified as 39-year-old Jason Ray Craft.
The victim was transported to Lake Charles Memorial Hospital and examined.
Deputies say a warrant was issued for Craft on charges of First Degree Rape. He was arrested and booked into the Jeff Davis Parish Jail on Tuesday, July 2.
No bond has been set.
