We love knowing that the cast members of the “Friends” TV show are friends in real life, too.
Exhibit A: Two recent, adorable photos Jennifer Aniston posted to her Instagram account of a girls’ night with her former castmates Courteney Cox and Lisa Kudrow.
In the photos, the threesome poses together at what looks to be a wine bar or restaurant. In the first pic, they look straight at the camera and in the second, all three are being more casual.
Aniston captioned the Jan. 11 post “Hi from the girls across the hall,” referencing the central conceit of the hit show: close-knit “Friends” who live an apartment hallway away from each other.
Kudrow also shared two photos from the night on her Instagram, writing “Bliss. And more bliss #goodgirlfriends,” to which Cox replied in a comment, “I love you two!! ðð¼♥︔
Aww, they really do “heart” each other!
The three female leads of “Friends” seem to make girls’ night trios an at least quarterly event. Cox posted another group shot from last June with Kudrow and Aniston, when they were apparently celebrating her birthday.
Cox and Kudrow appear even more frequently in each other’s Instagram photos. But they seem to all get together when they are able!
Back in 2018, Cox and Kudrow also talked about how they share a group text chain with Aniston to keep in touch, though they both said it can be a bit much to keep up with all the texts back and forth.
The cast love isn’t just restricted to Cox, Kudrow and Aniston. When Aniston joined Instagram in October 2019, her first photo was one with all five of her fellow “Friends” stars, as seen below.
She tagged all the “Friends” (besides Matthew Perry, who doesn’t have an Instagram account) and added the caption, “And now we’re Instagram FRIENDS too. HI INSTAGRAM.”
Lots of other evidence of the friendship among “Friends” exists out there — including a recent, sweet selfie with Cox and Perry, captioned, “Guess who I had lunch with today….I KNOW!! Could I BE any happier? #realfriends”
Now if we could just get these friends to reunite for an on-screen “Friends” reunion! That would be an event to make our day, our week, our month or even our year!
