Classes are canceled for Tuesday May 14 at Coteau Elementary, officials say.
Because power is still out at the school, it is closed for today.
"We will monitor the repairs by Entergy throughout the day and communicate the status of the school's reopening for tomorrow. Thank you for your understanding as we await the repairs to be completed," a statement from the school system says.
