A child was struck by a vehicle in Iberia Parish Thursday afternoon.
Iberia Parish Sheriff's deputies were called to the 200 block of Migues Road. When they arrived they found Iberia Parish Fire District and Acadian Ambulance were providing first aid to a nine-year-old child who had been struck by a vehicle.
The child was air-lifted to a Baton Rouge hospital, deputies say.
