But, before you get rid of that cracked flower pot, you’ll want to check out this tutorial for converting a broken pot into a magical fairy garden. Because it’s sure to spark some joy in your life!
The DIY video from the Westwood Gardens YouTube channel demonstrates just how simple and fun it can be to transform a pot that was once broken and seemingly useless into an adorable fairy garden, complete with tiny stepping stones, fairy accessories and of course, plenty of plants.
Whether you’re turning this into a project you can do with your kids or doing it on your own, it’s sure to be enjoyable for anyone involved, and it will definitely become a statement piece in your yard, on your tabletop or wherever you decide to house this precious fairy garden.

As you can see, there are no set rules when it comes to building your fairy playground. You just have to play around with the soil and broken pot pieces until you find an arrangement that you like (and one that will stay put!). Using the smaller pieces of the broken pot to create a staircase is a lovely two-for-one idea, in that it’s cute, but also will help to wedge the larger pot pieces into place.
Adding plants and tiny fairy accessories really make the fairy planter come to life, so be sure to check out local craft stores as well as sites such as Etsy to find fixtures that will really make fairies feel at home.
This isn’t the only way you can put broken pot pieces to good use in your yard, either.
