Today's Cool School is Carencro Heights Elementary!
Carencro Heights 4-H Club is all about helping the community. This year the club raised 250.00 in gift cards for Foster Friends of Acadiana. As well as, a Halloween Candy Drive for them. They also teamed up with Price Family Dentistry and collected Christmas goods to send to soldiers who will be spending Christmas overseas. The club also collected Tube Socks for the shelter downtown for their Socktober event.
They are now working on a Toy Drive. All toys will be donated to a local Hospital to spread cheer to kids who have to spend their holidays in the hospital. The 4-H club will have many more projects on the way and knows it's important to teach our 4-H students to give back to the community that they live in.
