BASILE, La. — Town officials announced today that a 2-inch gas main broke in Basile, near the intersection of N. White and Second streets.
Residents living north of Stagg Avenue between N. Ryan and N. White will be without gas until it can be repaired, officials say.
A repair crew has been notified and once repairs are made, Basile Town Hall will update its Facebook page here.
