Here’s the story of … the time you won a vacation to the Brady Bunch house! Thanks to HGTV, this could be your next trip. You don’t even have to be a lovely lady with three very lovely girls (or a man named Brady with three boys of his own).
In case you missed the news last August, HGTV purchased a home at 11222 Dilling Street in North Hollywood, California, also known as the house used for exterior shots of the 1970s television series “The Brady Bunch.”
The interior of the home did not resemble what you saw on the show, but since HGTV bought it, you better believe it does now!
In honor of the renovations that now replicate the original layout and design from the show, HTGV is giving away a six-day stay in the house for six friends in the network’s “A Very Brady Contest” — a sweepstakes companion to the new limited TV series, “A Very Brady Renovation.”
Here’s how it works: Now through Sept. 11, submit your most creative (and grooviest, of course!) video between 30-90 seconds describing why you deserve the trip, which will take place Dec. 9-15, 2019.
The grand prize also includes roundtrip airfare for the winner and up to six guests, an LA tourist experience and $25,000 cash! Even if you don’t win the trip, eight runners-up will still get $500 each.
Nine finalists will be selected and then America will vote between Sept. 30 and Oct. 11 to determine the grand prize winner. The winner will be announced in November.
You can follow @verybradyrenovation on Instagram for updates on the renovations.
The renovations are being done with help from HGTV hosts and designers like “Property Brothers” Drew and Jonathan Scott, Mina Starsiak and Karen E Laine of “Good Bones,” Leanne and Steve Ford of “Restored by the Fords,” Jasmine Roth of “Hidden Potential” and Lara Spencer of “Flea Market Flip.”
Original Brady siblings Barry Williams (Greg), Maureen McCormick (Marcia), Christopher Knight (Peter), Eve Plumb (Jan), Mike Lookinland (Bobby) and Susan Olsen (Cindy) have also reunited for the first time in nearly 15 years to be a part of the renovation and celebration.
Would you love to spend a week at the original “Brady Bunch” house?
