Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has shown time and again how much he loves being a dad to his daughters. So his recent social media share about tea time with his middle daughter, Jasmine, 3, doesn’t come as a surprise. But it’s still pretty darn adorable.
The Instagram photo shows Jasmine serving tea outside while her big daddy perches on a child-sized pink and white wooden chair.
“[D]addy may have put a little nip of tequila in his tea, cos it’s always 5 o’clock somewhere,” he writes on Sept. 22, perhaps making reference to the tequila line he’s developing.
Among the hashtags he includes is a prayer for the kid-sized furniture.
“#andgodblessmychair,” he writes.
Instagram user Nick Santonastasso shared a similar worry for the fate of the tiny chair with one of the most liked and commented-upon remarks on the post, writing, “Sending strength to that chair brother ðð»â¤ï¸ð.”
Johnson married his long-time girlfriend, Lauren Hashian, on Aug. 18. The pair has two daughters together: Jasmine, whose nickname is Jazzy, and Tiana Gia, 1. Johnson also has another daughter, 18-year-old Simone Alexandra, from his first marriage to Dany Garcia.
The Rock often shares the favorite moments he’s had with his girls. He famously spent some skin-to-skin time with his youngest in the hospital after she was born. He’s gotten his nails painted by tea party hostess Jazzy. He’s sung the “Jaws” theme song to her great delight. And he recently shared Jazzy’s enthusiasm for her flower girl duties with a funny action shot:
“Wedding day flower girl ðº is a big responsibility and one that Jazzy took very serious,” Johnson posted. “In the few minutes before the ceremony we took to practice, I quickly realized she was determined to not gently lay the flowers, but rather intensely throw the flowers with ruthless aggression ~ and a wicked smile. Hell. Yeah. That’s my daughter!”
Johnson’s such a great role model for his kids, don’t you think?
