Pumpkin spice fans, this one’s for you! You may have already enjoyed your first Starbucks pumpkin spice latte of the season, and now we have more delicious news to share regarding your favorite flavor combination.
Dunkin’ has teamed up with Massachusetts-based Harpoon Brewery, which has made the popular Dunkin’ coffee porter the past two years, to create a new fall-inspired and doughnut-infused ale, Harpoon Dunkin’ Pumpkin.
This limited-edition beverage is just one flavor in these companies’ fall collaboration, which includes the Harpoon Dunkin’ Boston Kreme (a chocolatey stout brewed with Dunkin’ donuts), the Harpoon Dunkin’ Jelly Donut (a hazy IPA brewed with donuts) and the collaboration’s returning champion, the Harpoon Dunkin’ Coffee Porter.
“We have no doubt the new donut brews, along with the rest of this new fall lineup, will bring the same moments of sweetness and smiles our coffee and donuts have created for 70 years,” said Brian Gilbert, vice president of retail business development at Dunkin’.
The official Dunkin’ news blog shared a little backstory of how this collaboration with Harpoon Brewery, which is now in its fourth season, came together:
“We know that many of our guests start their busy days with a cup of Dunkin’ coffee and end it by kicking back with one of Harpoon’s famous craft beers. In talking with our friends over at Harpoon, we also learned that Dunkin’ coffee has played an essential role in getting the brewery up and running each morning. So, it only made sense to bring the brands together for another cool collaboration featuring the two favorite brews.”
Ahead of the launch, Harpoon expressed their Dunkin’ love on Twitter, writing, “America runs on @dunkindonuts — and that is particularly true in our brewhouse.”
America runs on @dunkindonuts — and that is particularly true in our brewhouse. When you’re brewing 24 hours a day, a coffee from Dunkin’ is as important as any ingredient we use. Once in a while, Dunkin’ coffee IS one of those ingredients!

In fact, craft beer and a Dunkin’ coffee seem to go hand in hand at Harpoon.
Harpoon calls the Dunkin’ Pumpkin a “spiced latte ale” made with real pumpkin, pumpkin pie spices and coffee.
Starting in September, Harpoon Dunkin’ Pumpkin will be available on draft and in bottled six-packs. You can also find them as part of the new Harpoon Dunkin’ Dozen mix pack featuring three cans of each seasonal beer flavor.
