If you dream of cozying up in front of a fire this holiday season but don’t have a fireplace, the new Disney+ streaming service has something special for you — the Arendelle Castle Yule Log!
This holiday special invites viewers into the world of “Frozen,” specifically Anna and Elsa’s Arendelle castle. Once inside, you’ll be brought into a royal room where a roaring fire is burning in a fireplace. According to the description, viewers will “enjoy the warm glow of Anna and Elsa’s Arendelle castle hearth as they burn the traditional holiday yule log.”
You and your family will be able to enjoy this beautifully animated royal fireplace for three hours. As the yule log burns bright, you’ll hear the fire roar and crackle, allowing you to imagine that you’re snuggled up right there in the castle.

Viewers of the blockbuster sequel “Frozen 2” will recognize the room, as it’s where the royal sisters of Arendelle and their friends gather together for family game night. The room is decked out for the holidays with warm, glowing candles and evergreen garland along the mantle. And it wouldn’t be Christmas without stockings hung by the chimney with care, including one for each of your favorite “Frozen” characters. Elsa and Anna’s stockings are decorated in their favorite colors — blue, white and purple — while Kristoff, Sven and Olaf’s stockings have their own holiday flair.
The yule log burning in the video ties into a centuries-old tradition for which people would burn a special fire in honor of the Christmas holiday. The family would pick out one special log and light it on Christmas Eve with a scrap from the previous year’s yule log. It would then burn for at least 12 hours as a way to welcome in good fortune for the upcoming year.
While you may not be able to roast chestnuts on this open fire, the Arendelle Yule Log is a fun and festive way to bring some warmth to your family’s holiday season.
