Today's Cool School is Beau Chene High School!
Beau Chene High School's Food Science Class is growing 3 types of lettuce in a Hydroponic Garden. The lettuce will be used in the Cooking Lab to develop salad recipes, salad dressings, and green smoothies. They've grown Butter Lettuce, Lollo Lettuce, & Red Leaf. The students, under the guidance of Mrs. Jennifer Hebert, planted the lettuce in September and will harvest 33 heads of lettuce this week!
