People all around Acadiana do what they can to help the children of St. Jude.

Whether it’s the McLain Companies tireless work to build the Dream Home or Beanies for St. Jude’s work to raise funds each year, Acadiana always comes out to support the children of St. Jude.

Another Acadiana organization is also doing its part. The Krotz Springs Quilters Guild will auction off several handmade quilts on July 13.

“There are a lot of our members who are affected by St. Jude and so one of our members made a quilt,” says guild member Debra Menard. “We decided that the best way to handle that was an auction. The members got behind it and so this year we have five quilts that have been donated.”

Quilters say that each of the five quilts is made with the children of St. Jude in mind.

The 13th annual Quilt Show and Sale happens July 13th from 10: 00 am to 2:00 pm at the Community Center in Krotz Springs.
