The Acadia Parish Chamber of Commerce will host their annual Farmers' Appreciation Dinner

The Acadia Parish Chamber of Commerce and Supreme Rice will host their annual Farmers' Appreciation Dinner on Thursday, January 23 in Crowley.

The event held at the International Rice Festival Building will honor farmers who have made a large contribution to the culture and the economy of the parish.

Chamber President and CEO Amy Thibodeaux joined GMA to share more about the event.

Doors will open at 5:30 pm allowing guests the opportunity to visit exhibitor booths. Dinner will be served at 6:30 pm.

During the evening, door prizes donated by local businesses will be given away.

A Beretta A300 Outlander Synthetic 12 Gauge Shotgun donated by G&H Outdoor Store and Rice Palace will be raffled off at the end of the evening.

Raffle tickets are $5, and will be on sale at the event or in advance at the Chamber Office.

Tickets to the dinner are $10 and may be purchased either at the Chamber office, or at the door of the event.
