Sugarwolf Outdoor Exchange is making it's way to Downtown Lafayette in March.
And once renovations are complete, the consignment store promises to provide shoppers with everything they need to conquer the great outdoors.
"This is a consignment store for outdoor gear and apparel," explains owner Allison Nederveld. "For folks who don't know what consignment is, basically it means you give us your things and we sell them for you."
The store is still looking for more outdoor items in order to make the the business a reality.
"In order to open we need peoples gear," she says. "We need people to consign with us before we open in order to stock the store. So we've gotten a decent amount but we still need a little bit more."
Those interested in consigning any outdoor items can get in touch with the store via their website.
Sugarwolf will partner with Hub City Cycles and offer several workshops and classes for those interested in the outdoors.
They plan to open for business in the first half of March.
