Acadiana Animal Aid is one of the many places with heavy damage following Hurricane Delta.
Eighteen of their kennels were ripped apart by high winds on Friday. Those kennels, AAA says, were used to house dogs before they are taken to other no-kill shelters or new forever homes.
The need for help is greater than ever following the storm.

Acadiana Animal Aid is putting adopted pets back in the spotlight with a photo spotlight.
The organization is asking anyone who has adopted a pet from their shelter, dog or cat, to get them dressed up and upload their picture to the Acadiana Animal Aid Facebook page.
Fans can vote for their favorite pet for just a dollar.
The winner, they say, will be featured in their 2021 calendar.
"If you have several pets enter a spot for each one. Support the work that we're doing and make this fundraiser really fun," said AAA. "Let's see some really cool glamour or fun photos of your special family member."
PET OF THE WEEK
GMA's Pet of the Week is Puddin and she's showing everyone why cats are superior to dogs.
However, she doesn't want to upset anyone and believes that the proof is in the Puddin.
You can head to acadianaanimalaid.org for more information on Puddin and all of the other animals currently up for adoption at Acadiana Animal Aid.
