Today's Cool School is Raintree Elementary in Baldwin.
Raintree is creating a culture of readers. The more students read, the better their reading ability becomes. Students log every 15 minutes of reading with a goal of reading 45 minutes a day.
Students get a flower to place on their "Reading Tree" to celebrate moving up a reading level. They ring the bell when they reach those goals. Raintree Elementary's students and staff are working diligently to reach our school's vision of "Growing our Future."
If you have a Cool School let us know! Send Dave Baker an email to weather@katctv.com. Put Cool Schools in the subject line. Include a picture and a short story about why your school is cool!
