Today's Cool School is LaGrange Elementary School in Franklin, and it's the coolest place to be.
Despite COVID, they have managed to thrive every single day. With literacy as a focus this year, they challenged the students to a Reading Steps Competition. Students could earn steps by reading 15 minutes a day, setting and exceeding personal goals, leveling up, or by simply being caught reading.
The Super Bees stepped up to the challenge and showed major growth in reading. Students with the most steps in each grade level received a goody pack filled with awesome prizes. All who met their goal were entered into a drawing for a hover board and a tablet. At Lagrange Elementary with the power of reading, their school is unstoppable!
