Today's Cool School is Catholic High School in New Iberia.
Catholic High hosted the VEX Robotics Competition recently, bringing in twelve teams from five Louisiana high schools to compete for the first time. Catholic High Robotics, and their coach Tabitha Erickson, have been working on their designs since last summer.
The goal of the competition was to design and construct robots to complete a specific task to score points. Panther Robotics Team A reached the quarterfinals and won the Design Award. Team B was the Tournament Champion and received the Excellence Award. Team C reached the quarterfinals. Great job Panthers!
