If you're looking for plans this Valentine's Day weekend, then CYT Lafayette has you covered.
Beginning on Thursday, CYT will present five performances of Mulan Jr. at Angelle Hall on the UL Lafayette campus.
Abby Breidenbach joined cast members to discuss some of what audiences will experience at the shows.
The production tells the story of Mulan, a young woman who defies the village matchmaker and disguises herself as a boy to serve in her father's place in the Chinese army. And when the huns invade, it's up to Mulan to save the emporer and China.
Tickets are $18 and $16 for children 12 and younger.
Five performances are scheduled from Thursday, February 13 to Sunday, February 16. See the dates and times below.
