For more than 30 years, Christmas at Coteau has kicked off the Christmas season in Acadiana with its holiday shopping market featuring over 80 merchants and artisans from all over the South. The event is held on the beautiful grounds of the Academy of the Sacred Heart in Grand Coteau.
It is a blend of holiday shopping an delicious food with two gourmet luncheons served by Ruffino's on the River on Friday, December 6 and its second annual Gumbo Cook-Off on Saturday, December 7.
Complimentary gift wrapping will be available, and on Saturday, students from the Academy of the Sacred Heart will offer childcare for just $5 an hour while you shop.
There is truly something for everyone at this beautiful holiday tradition to be held on December 6 and 7 for Christmas at Coteau in Grand Coteau, and if you just can't wait until the weekend for the fun to start, Thursday night, there will be a preview party. 8 restaurants, including Pamplona, Tsunami, Ruffino's, Pour, Le Triomphe, and more, will cater the preview party, and all 80+ vendors will be set up for holiday shopping.
