Visual artists from around Acadiana will take part in a Festival International tradition this week at the Paul and Lulu Hilliard Art Museum.
On Wednesday, December 4, 16 artists will use projectors to cast their art on to the walls of the university art museum. Each artist uses their own medium to create the colorful and unique projections.
Festival Marketing Coordinator Carly Viator and Festival International's Official Visual Artist Tommy Hughes stopped by GMA to share more on the event.
The event takes place from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
Guests can partake in food, drinks and the company of others while supporting two local arts organizations.
Festival International says the event is a great way to see just some of the many artists who help make each year's festival a success.
Details on next year's festival poster, designed by Hughes, will be announced at the beginning of 2020.
