The Patrick Williamson Memorial Foundation will host their 10th annual Sporting Clay Shoot Saturday, April 18.

The event takes place at the Wilderness Gun Club in Lafayette.

The foundation was created in honor of a Broussard native Patrick Williamson who was killed in Afghanistan in 2009 while serving in the United States Army.

The annual clay shoot supports the foundation's mission of providing adapted minivans to service men and women who have sustained injuries while on active duty during wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Three flight times are set for Saturday's clay shoot, 8:00 am, 11:00 am and 2:00 pm.

The 8:00 am time slot is already beginning to fill up.

Those interested in registering for the clay shoot can go online to patrickwilliamson.org.
