As the holidays approach you might be getting anxious about your Christmas packages arriving in time for the big day.

If you're the type that constantly worries about where your packages are, there's an app for that.

How many times a day are you checking to see if your package arrived or searching your phone for your tracking number? Cut down on all that stress by downloading the app Route.

In order for Route to work, it needs access to your email. Once it has access, the app will automatically connect to order confirmations and begin tracking. The app covers any item you purchase from online retailers, including big companies like Amazon to small local boutiques.

The app allows users to check the status of each package and watch it travel to its intended destination on a real-time map. If Route misses an order, you can manually add a tracking number.

There are a handful of similar apps, but this one is the only one that appears to be very consistent when it comes to tracking orders.

For the app to work the way it's intended, you have to make sure all of your shipping confirmations are sent to the same email.
