If you would like to stop picking up after your kids and start teaching them a thing or two about responsibility, hard work and earning money, say goodbye to a chore chart and hello to app of the week, Homey.
The app allows parents to assign chores and pay allowance electronically once those chores are completed.
Parents can comment on chores and confirm or refuse the claim that a task was in fact completed.
You can pay your kids with the wallet feature on the app but if they do something like say a bad word or another off limits offense a parent can also take allowance out of the child's wallet.
The app also encourages children to save, since the allowance goes directly into an account, removing the temptation to spend cash right when they get it.
Homey is free, unless you want the upgraded version. That will cost you $3.99.
