Giftful is the app that puts everybody's Christmas wishlist in one place. KATC's Abby Breidenbach put it to the test with her own family this holiday season.
"I can press on a button, press on a link and it sends me straight to that website, and within seconds I bought your gift," says Gail Breidenbach, Abby's mom.
Creating a wishlist on Giftful is simple. Just give it a title and start linking items. In the description box, you can add what color and size you'd like.
Then share your wish list with friends and family via text, email or directly through the app.
"We have family scattered across the country and it is wonderful that I can just send this list to them and get them on this app and when they say, 'What does Abby want for Christmas?', go to the app," says Gail.
If you buy something on someone else's list, you can claim it in the app to make sure they don't find two under the tree.
The app simplifies things, especially at a time of year when we all have so much going on.
"I have lists everywhere. Instead of 'oh my goodness, it's in my car, I'm not in my car right now, I'm at the mall...' I can look at this and just boom boom boom... Here are all my kids! It's just simple and it's foolproof," says Gail.
Even if you don't want to get something directly from the list, Giftful can be helpful with some hints.
"It kind of gives me an insider's peak into what her favorite things are right now and it helps me personalize it with something else," says Gail.
This app is totally free. It will be useful, not just at Christmas, but for birthdays, graduations, and other gift-giving occasions.
