A UL Lafayette sorority is hosting a week full of fundraising events to support their philanthropy. Shamrock Week is a week long event that the Kappa Delta Sorority holds with multiple opportunities to help raise money for their philanthropies: Faith House of Acadiana and Prevent Child Abuse America.
The Greek organization’s Vice President of Community Service, Emma Domangue, and a Shamrock Committee member, Madeline Gautreaux, shared details with our Katie Lopez this morning.
Shamrock week starts on Monday, March 18. Fundraising opportunities throughout the week include: givebacks at Grub Burger Bar and Indulge on Monday, the 18, Smooch a Pooch on Tuesday and Wednesday, the 19 and 20, a quesadilla dinner at the ULL Kappa Delta house on Thursday, the 21, a Cyclebar Fundraiser on Friday and Saturday, the 22 and 23, and a softball tournament on Sunday, March 24.
