KATC’s Abby Breidenbach was LIVE in Downtown Lafayette with more on the parade and how to participate.

The parade will mark the return of the Krewe after their hiatus from Mardi Gras activities last year.

Pre-registration can be done online at krewedeschien.org.

Shelters and rescues will be set up in Park Putnam for adoption events before and after the parade. The parade is a quarter mile in length and treks down Lafayette Street, making a left turn onto Vermilion Street and ending at Parc Sans Souci. The parade rolls at 2:00 pm.
