The Bayou Church will host their annual Chili/Gumbo Cook-off on Sunday, November 11th from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm.

Several varieties of chili and gumbo will be available for tasting during the event. All chili and gumbo connoisseurs in Acadiana are asked to attend and help pick the best of the best. A winner in each category will be chosen by a “people’s choice vote.” Thirty-six teams will compete for top prize.

The event is free to attend and is focused on gathering the community together and enjoy a fun day with family and friends.

Along with great chili and gumbo, guests can enjoy live music from Johnny Chauvin and the Mojo Band, fun jumps, and more.
