Tinsel and Treasures is celebrating its 25th year at the Cajundome this week.
The ever-popular holiday market will fully open its doors to shoppers this morning at 10:00 am.
KATC’s Abby Breidenbach was LIVE at the Cajundome in Lafayette with details on how you can be a part of the holiday shopping event.
Fans of the holidays will have three days to head out to the Cajundome Convention Center to take part in the holiday shopping event. With over 130 merchants, the event has all types of goods including jewelry, food, gifts, toys, home decor, and apparel.
Door open today, Thursday, September 27 for the General Market from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm. (Strollers permitted from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm).
This morning at 8:00 am Tinsel and Treasures will have “preferred shopping” to beat the crowds. Tickets for this shopping period are $28 and can be purchased at the box office this morning. Tickets are limited.
On Friday, doors open at 9:00 am and will close at 8:00 pm before opening for the final day on Saturday, September 29 from 9:00 am until 5:00 pm.
A kid’s event will take place on Saturday with a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus.
The Junior League of Lafayette, who put on the event every year, have successfully raised more than $5.6 million to support community programs in Lafayette and Acadiana.
