Acadiana Animal Aid to hold ‘Ales for Adoptable Tails’ event

Acadiana Animal Aid  and Bonefish Restaurant and Grill will host their ‘Ales for Adoptable Tales’ event on Sunday, September 23 from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Bonefish Grill on Kaliste Saloom Road.

Attendees will enjoy food from seven stations along with six different select draft beers. An auction and a raffle for a one week stay at a vacation home in Colorado will also be held.

Those who attend can also sign up to adopt an animal currently housed at the Acadiana Animal Aid shelter in Carencro. Proceeds from the event will go towards supporting Animal Aid and their continued work to rescue animals from high-kill shelters in Louisiana. 2,700 animals were rescued by the organization just last year, and it is their hope that the funds from this event will help to double the number of saved animals this year.

Tickets for the event are on sale via the Acadiana Animal Aid Facebook Page or at the door of the event.

Little Levi joined Animal Aid Development Director Heidi Patterson and Bonefish Managing Partner Jeffery Wright this morning for the interview. It looks like Katie Lopez fell in love with him.
