Healing House’s Lafayette’s ABSOLUT Best Martini Competition is slowly nearing its end. This Tuesday marks the second-to-last and seventh stop on the tour.
Bon Temps Grill in Lafayette will be offering a signature martini to its patrons today as a part of the competition. The martini is called the Speak Easy and is made with ABSOLUT Citron, simple syrup, a splash of lime juice, Midori, and muddled strawberries.
Healing House is offering a $2 coupon for those interested in trying out this week’s martini. Guests can use the coupon with a purchase of an entrée. That coupon can be printed out, here. Martini’s can be voted on while at the restaurant by dropping $1 in jars set up on the bar. $1 equals one vote.
Healing House’s Lafayette’s ABSOLUT Best Martini contest started on June 26 with Walk-On’s Bistreaux and Bar in Broussard. Each Tuesday a new restaurant presents a cocktail to be featured and voted on by patrons. At the end of the competition, votes will be tallied and a winner will be announced at the organization’s gala event on Saturday, August 18. Tickets for the gala can be purchased, here.
