America’s Cajun Navy to hold inaugural Cajun Cook-off and Family Fun Day

This weekend, America’s Cajun Navy will hold their inaugural Cajun Cook-off and Family Fun Day in Scott. KATC’s Abby Breidenbach was LIVE with more on the fundraiser set up to help the organization replenish its supplies. The fun begins on Sunday, July 29 at 10:00 am at Cowboys in Scott. Fun jumps, face painting, vendors, live music, and a meet and greet with volunteers of America’s Cajun Navy are just of few of the offerings at the inaugural event. Lafayette Consolidated Government will also have pets available for adoption. A live auction and 50/50 raffle will round out the event. Tickets are $5 per person. Teams wanting to join in on the cook-off will pay a $25 registration fee. Vendor fees are $30. Organizers ask that guest leave their ice chests at home.
