Acadiana Center for the Arts to host the 11th annual Gulf Brew Festival

This weekend, one of the largest craft beer tastings will take over Lafayette. On Saturday, Blackham Coliseum will play host to the 11th annual Gulf Brew Festival.KATC’s Abby Breidenbach was LIVE this morning with details on this weekend’s festival and what guests can expect from participating breweries. The festival, in its eleventh year, is hosted by Acadiana Center for the Arts and will feature over 200 beers from breweries from across Acadiana. The festival will be held from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm.Beer tasters can enjoy live music from the Rayo Brothers and the New Natives Brass Band, as well as food from Taco Sisters and Scratch Farm KitchenTickets can be pre-purchased online at dothebrew.org or by visiting Acadiana Center for the Arts in Downtown Lafayette. Tickets purchased in advance are $35 per person. Those purchased on the day of the event will cost $40.For those acting as designated drivers or non-tasters, a festival ticket will cost $15.The festival also offers an early taster ticket for $55. Tickets are limited and will allow guests an early entrance into the festival from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm.The proceeds from the festival go toward supporting Acadiana Center for the Arts mission to foster art and culture in Acadiana.
