St. Landry Chamber to host Horses, Harmony & Agriculture Awards Banquet

The St. Landry Chamber of Commerce will host their Horses, Harmony & Agriculture Awards Banquet on Wednesday, July 25 at Equine Sales of Louisiana, LCC at Copper Crowne Equestrian Center in OpelousasThe banquet, in its eighth year, was organized to honor those in the community that best exemplify the three pillars of St. Landry Parish Culture. This year’s award recipients are:Harmony: Eric Wayne GautreauxHorses: The Academy of the Sacred HeartAgriculture: Genevieve LyonsThe event will be held from 5:30 pm until 8:30 pm.Tickets for the event are still on sale and can be purchased online at the St. Landry Chamber of Commerce website and Facebook page. Tickets can also be purchased by calling the chamber at (337) 942-2683 or dropping by their offices at 109 Vine Street in Opelousas. Tickets will also be available at the door of the event. Tickets are $30 per person or $250 for a table of eight. All proceeds from the event will go towards funding scholarships for students of St. Landry Parish Schools and for the everyday operations of the chamber in the community.
