This weekend, residents of Lafayette can lend a hand in the fight against litter when "Pick It Up Acadiana" makes it way to Lafayette.

From 8:00 am to 11:00 am on Saturday, July 21, residents in Lafayette can lend a hand in cleaning up Girard Park. Crews will be out tidying up the park grounds and the pond as a part of their mission to keep the park beautiful.
Gloves and trash bags will be provided for those who stop by to help clean up. Free water will be provided.
The event is hosted by the Acadiana Spiritual Association.
