St. Landry Crime Stoppers is asking for help from the public in solving a rash of burglaries in the City of Port Barre.
Port Barre Police Department is investigating a rash of vehicle and home burglaries between the dates of November 26 and December 21. A group of what appears to be young juvenile males dressed in dark clothing, hoodies, face masks, gloves, and carrying handguns burglarized unlocked vehicles and three unoccupied homes.
Stolen in the burglaries were several firearms, cell phone miscellaneous items, cash, and an Xbox game system. The thieves were caught on several videos throughout the neighborhood.
