St. Landry Crime Stoppers is asking for help from the public in solving a burglary in the Opelousas area.
On June 18, 2019, deputies were dispatched to the 4300 block of Hwy. 357 in Opelousas for a burglary at Dupre Park.
The complainant reported that when she returned to the park, she observed the doors to the metal shed open. The shed was secured by a silver master lock but had been removed. Stolen was a Model 950M John Deere Z-Trak mower and was green and yellow in color. The last time anyone had seen the mower was on June 13, 2019 at 5:00 pm.
The value of the mower is $9,000 dollars.
