The St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office needs your help in solving an armed robbery in the Opelousas area.

On November 17, 2020, at approximately 1:00 am, two male subjects entered into the Quarters Casino on Hwy 744 in Opelousas. The two masked subjects pointed their handguns at employees demanding cash from their work aprons and also demanded cash from a secured change machine.

While one of the subjects received money from the change machine, the other pointed his firearm at the patrons in the casino demanding their hands stay up. After receiving the cash, the subjects forced the employees to their knees at gunpoint. The subjects then fled the casino on foot with $3,000 in cash and an employee’s work apron. The subjects were seen on video surveillance running towards the I-49 entrance ramp just west of the casino.
