St. Landry Parish Crime Stoppers needs your help in solving a home burglary in the Swords area.
On October 9, 2019, a burglary was reported at a home located at 597 Sonnier Road. The victim stated he left his home around 9:15 a.m. then returned back at 10:40 a.m. and noticed the front door of his home was forced open.
Stolen from inside his home was a Vizio and Hisense flat-screen television, an LG sound bar and PlayStation 3, a wooden jewelry box containing a white gold diamond wedding ring and an Apple Smart Watch. The thief also stole a yellow air compressor and a five-gallon gas can from underneath his outside carport.
