St. Landry Crime Stoppers needs your help in solving a rash of burglaries in the city of Eunice.
During the first week of February 2020, Eunice Police officers responded to homes located on Nile Street, North 7th Street, and West Dean St. for vehicle burglaries.
A 9mm Ruger LC9 handgun, personal identification cards, cash, wallets, and purses were stolen in the burglaries. Video surveillance shows an unidentified suspect wearing a camouflage hoodie, black and white sweat pants, and red Nike tennis shoes.
The vehicles were left unlocked and no signs of forced entry were seen.
Law enforcement once again reminds you to lock your vehicle and remove all valuables from plain sight. Your vehicle is not a safe and especially not a gun safe, according to police.
