Acadia Parish Crime Stoppers: Help needed in solving multiple burglaries

Posted
and last updated

Detectives with the Acadia Parish Sheriff's Office are receiving complaints of four-wheeler thefts from around the parish.

A few of the stolen four-wheelers include a 2007 Honda ORV and a 2013 Can-Am, both camo in color and a red 2017 Honda 500 Foreman Rubicon, with a snorkel on the front. These were stolen from the Iota, Branch and Crowley areas and are valued at more than $7,000.

Sheriff KP Gibson reminds residents to secure your four-wheelers and do everything you can to protect them. Vandals are out looking for these because there is a market for them, Gibson added.

If you have any information regarding these thefts, you're urged to call the tips line at (337) 789-TIPS or download our P3 app on your mobile device to report your tip anonymously.

All callers will remain anonymous and can receive up to a $1,000 cash reward for information leading to an arrest in this case.
